Antoine Semenyo delivered the perfect parting gift to Bournemouth fans ahead of his move to Manchester City later this week. The departing Cherries star rifled home a 95th-minute winner against Tottenham with what could prove to be his final touch for the club, topping off what was an electric and unpredictable evening on the south coast under the lights. In a breathless and end-to-end match, Bournemouth and Spurs looked set to share a spoil of the points following an even contest at the Vitality. After going 1-0 up through a smart Mathys Tel strike, the Lilywhites were in control until Evanlinson equalised and shifted the momentum in the hosts' favour. Not long before the break, Eli Junior Kroupi gave his side the lead, turning the match on its head and reigniting a somewhat subdued crowd. Spurs got themselves back into the contest through Joao Palhinha, who bagged a stunning overhead kick to level proceedings. However, it was Semenyo who had the final word, cutting inside deep into stoppage time and smashing his laces through the ball and into the far corner, to the delight of the home fans inside the stadium.Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola was desperate to keep Semenyo for as long as possible into the January transfer window, with his £65 million ($87m) release clause due to expire on the 10th.
